Today I bring you a whole bunch of bits and pieces. But let's start with the most important one, because I know the whole world is on tenterhooks to know what I did with my birthday shoe voucher! Behold:

Were they expensive? Yes. Are they comfy? Oh yes. The leather is all thin and buttery and yumtious. And since they are replacing two pairs of short boots that I bought in 2004 and 2005 respectively, I think we can safely say that they will be getting plenty of wear. Thank you, Mutti and Bunce!
Now, on to the important stuff, viz., the baby. Who is so big and helpful these days! Here he is putting the washing away.
You might think that this was taken half way through the putting-away process, but you would be wrong. That was the finished product.
Here he is wearing Daddy's awesomely stylish slippers and looking a bit like a gunslinger. I don't like the way that right hand is idling at his hip, he looks like he's got an evil plan in place.
Here he is being lots less evil, making tea with sand at the beach, and trying to break his way into the snack box where a chocolate Krispie is lurking.
And this is the Teddy Bears' Picnic at PlayCentre.
Today Liam and I took Seb on a walk around the perimeter of the airport, doing some "pyane" spotting. It was slow going when Seb was on two feet, because he couldn't move and look at pyanes at the same time. Also, silly me forgot the camera; but luckily, Liam had his phone with him.
As a side note to that picture, the No Poo experiment is going swimmingly. I hadn't baking soda'd my hair for a whole week in that pic. The first couple of weeks, Sunday was a Don't Take Off Your Hat day, and in fact the first week I horrified my husband by combing my hair straight back off my face and it simply staying there. But, see? Today, really quite normal after a week of nothing but a couple of water rinses. It's just over a month into the process, so I'm keen to see what happens in the next month or two. It's definitely a whole lot softer and less frizzy and flyaway.
Here's the boy with his daddy on the same walk.
And here are the boys on a bouncy castle at the Honest Lawyer, where we treated ourselves to a beer and some chips in the sunshine after our five k walk. Man, it's nice to see the blue sky for a change. Weather has been foul!
Where are all the pictures of my girl? Well I hardly saw her this weekend, what with one thing and another. Will have to do better next week! She did let me do her eyebrows today though (she was brave as houses) and looks very pretty. Also, she is my darling and I love her.
Also, I keep meaning to say how many words Sebby can say now. A couple of weeks ago I thought I could still list them all. But now there's no chance of it. He learns them too fast!
This week I'm afraid he learned FART.
