Our Years of Living Mollishly

This is an impossible post to write.  I have no idea what to say.  Such a weekend, seeing our girl off on the plane, letting her go, smiling and waving as she left.

Oh, my darling one!  We are so proud of you!  We love you so much!

The weeks can't pass fast enough till we see you again!  But savour them, enjoy them, use them, eat them up.  Have the best, best time, beloved girl.

Pinkosity

Sigh.  These are hard days.  The last weekend with my gorgeous, adorable, hugglicious daughter.  We did the traditional summer bleach'n'dye and she looks stunning with it.  She should always have pink hair.  It makes her skin so very porcelain, she looks like a bowl of fruit swimming in cream.

My darlings!  So beautiful, so different, so beloved.

And here's all of us, a picture taken at Molly's insistence but gosh I think it was a good idea.  We will all need this picture in the next few weeks.

In less heart-sandpapering news, Peanut T-ball league started again on Saturday and guess who won the Peanut Cup for Great Skills?

That's a proud little dude right there.

Gorgeousness

Check us out, aren't we spunky?  All gussied up to go to a wedding on Saturday.

(Liam says I look like a strange imitation Elvis, that's actually a headband with a black feathery flower on it, even it that's not entirely clear!)

I didn't think Sebby would ever love a wedding, but golly he loved this one.  Seven hours of pure happy.  A bouncy castle, face painting from Flossie the Balloon Lady, colouring in, treat bags, other little boys to run round with.  Big, big ups to Ian and Nicky for making it such a lovely and inclusive occasion.

And here's mummy and honey in the pool at Hope School.  This boy can swim with his floaty turtle! He can put on goggles and hold his nose and go under the water!  He's ace.

And he can do this too.  I am so proud.
