Sunny Christchurch road trip - and a milestone for my boy :)

We went on a road trip!  Through the tunnel to Lyttleton, and back through Governor's Bay and over Dyer's Pass.  With a side trip up to the Sign of the Kiwi, where there was a truly awesome view and Sophie got to play Titanic on a pole.

Panorama!

This isn't a panorama, it's a weird sort of spherical photo where you take a whole bunch of pictures and the phone maps them together for you.

This is the jetty at Governor's Bay.

And here's Wunty Will at lunch, or at least her silhouette.

It was a lovely afternoon, and then I came home and had another nap.  Am getting rather tired!

Also a very important thing happened today at home.  Oh Sebby, it's a real milestone when you lose your front teeth!  You're such a big boy!  I can't wait to see you in a few days!

Oh hello Painting Mojo, there you are!

Look what Pippa brought down with her!  Painting mojo! (And printouts of silent movie stars to kick it off painlessly.)

It's soooo long since I painted something.  I feel much more ME now that I have!

Bet you can tell which is whose.

I was kind of scared to start off with.

But soon cheered up.

Thanks, chicken!!!

Gorgeousness in Christchurch

How cute is Molls with her multicoloured hair, false eyelashes, and new top? VERY!

It takes me the same amount of time in the bathroom just to look normal - fake eyelashes, drawn-on eyebrows, wig - but normal is good.  Molly says I look like Edna Mode in this wig/glasses combo.  Sweet, Edna's cool.

It hasn't been all hairdye and makeup.  She looked after me really well too!  I'll miss you my little princess.  Mwuh.  Thank you.

Bunce got some very special glasses but was very responsible and did not imbibe wine through them.

Then he had a special Fathers' Day nap.  He is easy to please.

We love you, daddies.  And we thought of Matt and his dad all day.
