A Brief Spurt of Domestic Goddess-ishness

Something weird and hormonal happened to me yesterday and I was seized by a womanly domestic urge to make use of nature's bounty, viz., our vast horde of overripe grapes.  My limited capabilities restricted me, but I figured even I couldn't screw up grape juice.

You pick the grapes.

You boil the grapes.

You strain and drink the grapes.  Voila!  We got nearly three litres of beautiful red grape juice.  No sugar needed, even!

Today we gave ourselves a bit of a treat, thanks to GrabOne and a voucher for the Speights Ale House.  Awesomely delicious seafood platter, with oysters, roe, mussels, battered fish, prawn filo twists, smoked fish, seared tuna, raw fish in coconut, fabulous smoked fish pate... Man, it was good!  Wish I'd had the nous to take a picture before we started demolishing it.  Highly recommended. We brought home enough in a doggy bag for dinner!

There were a couple of teenagers singing and playing guitar too, and Seb was very appreciative of their efforts.  It's not easy to clap with a fork in one hand, but he managed it.

Finally, on the way home, I turned round to check on my boy and was presented with this vision.

Star pants.  Crazy dude.
